Chapter 171. Leisha!

Almost immediately, all of the representatives in front of me dashed, leaving a storm of dust around where they stood. There were plenty of them, all of which were forming a circle around me.

I didn’t feel threatened at all and provoked them by letting out a super loud, intentional yawn while leaning on my scythe as they maneuvered their way around a circle on me. The speed of their approach was hilariously slow to my eyes which made me bored as I counted in my mind up to five seconds.

And five seconds soon passed by in a blink as all of them were now in their position, some had filled their weapons up with mana, and others didn’t wait and tried jumping straight towards me. I didn’t bother moving a single inch, and simply summoned a Blood Magic barrier in front of those who were pouncing their way towards me.

Soon, the spells of the wizards on their side entered my attacking range but their spells dissipated without a single trace upon entering. It was almost like they never threw a spell towards me which made me yawn even more as I took a glance at their shocked and pale faces.

“Is this all you got?” I waved my scythe before slashing horizontally towards the ones who were blocked by the Blood Magic Barrier, immediately, their bodies flew like paper as a giant gust of wind flew towards them mercilessly casting wounds on their bodies.

The blood all flew to the scythe without a single person noticing which made me a bit surprised since I thought the scythe only consumes the blood of monsters but it seems like I was wrong and it also consumed the blood of humans as long as my heart recognizes them as enemies.

Everyone around me who didn’t make their move yet paled upon the sight of their teammates resting on the ground, some trembled upon my gaze. They were like chicklings who couldn’t move without their mama chicken which made me a bit amused… is this how that demon felt when she was battling my old self?

It felt as if my ego was being pumped to the maximum, I felt bored almost like that devil in the past… if I was her then I would probably do the same and play around… but that was if I was her and had her evil heart. I felt a bit pitiful for the innocent representatives here and decided to finish this in a blast.

Dematerializing my scythe, I pointed my index finger high up in the skies before speaking in a loud voice that reverberated around the colosseum: “Hear me thy spirits, shine a bright thunderous roar upon my enemies and lead them to a quick destruction!”

It was a fake chant I made up within the moment but it was more than enough to catch the gazes of many as I immediately threw [Blood Magic: Faint] on all the representatives around me before casting [Blood Magic: Arena Illusion] which was a spell I knew that existed in Solis. In theory, all mana spells should work with blood magic with the exception of Holy spells which is why I have been able to use all of these spells.

Almost immediately, loud thunderous roars blasted throughout the coliseum as the sight of bright red lightning sparking down towards the direction of the representatives came to sight. A loud explosion reverberated each spark and lasted a total of ten minutes before the skies turned bright blue as all of them were on the ground, a bit dusted out.

There was heavy silence around the entire place, all of their gazes were pinned at me with different emotions: fear, horror, and disbelief. The referee was pale and almost looked like he was about to die from looking at me, his body trembled in utter fear as his eyes were about to turn white.

Possibly because he noticed the referee unable to continue, the guild master snapped everyone back to reality by shouting: “The match has ended! The representative of Her Ladyship of the Windsor family has won in a record-breaking time against a record-breaking number of opponents!”

It was then when loud screams of cheers eclipsed all over the coliseum, mainly coming from familiar people who I knew lived in the town. They weren't cheering for me but rather for my other self: Ayumi Windsor, whom they respect and love. I felt happy inside hearing their cheers, bringing a smile to my lips as I walked down from the stage.

All of a sudden, a presence crept up behind me as my body instinctively dodged before a red flash flew past me as the red-haired knight stood where I was standing with her sword slammed on the ground, crumbling into pieces before she limply fell down.

My body dashed like lightning and caught her before she fell, turning my gaze into her eyes as a strong sense of familiarity rushed towards me. A name immediately came into my mind as I whispered, “Leisha…?!”

A wonderful smile blossomed on her face as she touched my cheeks with her warm hand, “You can see through my disguise as always, Ayumi…” before she limply rested on my arms, sleeping soundly as I looked at her with utter surprise… no wonder why she felt familiar.

Of course… there would be no one else who could resist the strength of the blood magic spell other than Le since she is a supremely talented person, unlike me and Kaori who are basically cheats that were granted power by the Goddess.

“Are you okay, m—?!” Tanya who rushed towards my side quickly managed to remember my current identity and sliced off her words before she could finish.

I looked a single glance at Leisha before handing her over to Tanya who gladly took her gently without any issue, Tanya seemed like a superwoman in this instance. She is literally carrying Leisha with her full armor on which kind of shocked me but then again, she is a servant of the Windsor family which is known to be secretive and powerful.

The two of us walked over to the Guild Master who was carrying a leather pouch with a bitter smile, “You really are one tough person, to think that Her Ladyship has managed to hire some sort of devil that can even summon the powers of the skies…”

“I wouldn’t be an adventurer of the highest rank if my powers were only limited to that,” I yawned before his bitter smile grew as he slowly handed me the pouch which looked decently heavy. Opening it up revealed dozens or possibly thousands of gold coins which made my lips curl.

It was money… as someone who has experienced tough times managing this town during its lowest, seeing this much money always makes me happy now. I only learned about the heavy importance of money ever since I managed this town and each gold coin I earn is of great importance to me now.

“Thanks,” I hid away the pouch before he nodded as my gaze turned towards Tanya who similarly nodded before the two of us quickly vanished from the gazes of many, casting a little illusion barrier around us as we swiftly exited the guild.

The illusion barrier, despite being handy, isn’t something I can use when transforming since the spell is limited to this vampiric form which means during transformation, there is a slight chance of being exposed which is why I can’t risk it.

“Let’s head to that alleyway,” I pointed before Tanya nodded without hesitation as the two of us maneuvered our way towards a lonely and quiet alleyway where I immediately transformed back into my original human form before flicking my finger as a bright white light covered Leisha.

The white light surrounded her for a few seconds before vanishing as her eyelids twitched a bit. The twitching continued on for a few seconds until those two lids opened themselves, revealing her beautiful eyes as always.

A nostalgic emotion welled up inside of me as I looked at Tanya and nodded before she quickly left us alone, after confirming she was far enough for her to hear us, I took out a little necklace that Kaori left me back then and poured a bit of mana onto it, creating a noise-canceling barrier around us.

“It’s been a while, Leisha,” I looked at her with a smile.

She slowly took off her wig and showed a similar smile as her beautiful, symbolic white hair that differed a lot from Kaori’s fluttered, “It is indeed a while since we met one another again, Ayumi…” she spoke with tears welling from her eyes.
