Chapter 195: Don’t make it out to be something it wasn’t

However, what Long Shen did put the final nail onto the coffin.

The paramedic realizes that he got hoodwinked by Long Shen! The spots he's been pressing and checking are places there wasn't an ounce of bruising or harm at all! He even pressed at the sole of his foot, and Long Shen even reacted to it!

If Lu Chen hadn't insisted so hard, even if Long Shen hadn't been injured, the paramedic would still have felt pity and sympathized with him. But what Lu Chen said made sense to him. 

Seeing how silent the paramedic was, Liu Fei Fei asks again, "Officer, is there anything wrong with my Shen Shen?" 

The paramedic looks up at Liu Fei Fei, "Young lady, do you want me to be perfectly honest with you?"

"Are the injuries that serious?!" From the tense expression of the paramedic, Liu Fei Fei worries more. 

She wasn't alone as everybody else was waiting for the paramedic's response.

"To be perfectly honest with you, miss, besides the broken arm and the bruises, your boyfriend is perfectly fine."

The moment the paramedic said this, the crowd of people became silent. The tense atmosphere that's been there, waiting for an answer, turns into a "HUH" atmosphere.

Perfectly fine? They couldn't believe it. Long Shen has been coughing so much and has almost fainted to the ground! How could he be ok? 

And the person who didn't believe it at all is Liu Fei Fei. She screams, "How could Shen Shen be fine?! Did you properly check him?!" 

When the paramedic heard her, he started to frown, "Young lady, are you doubting my expertise? This young man, for the most part, is fine. And when I was examining his body a second time, I realized that this young man has been lying about his injuries being so severe. 

Turning to look at Long Shen, the paramedic says, "Young man, the only injuries that you have is your broken arm and your face being bruised up. There shouldn't be anything that would cause you to faint." 

The paramedic then points at Yao Shao as he continues, "From what I can see, your friend over there seems to have suffered more injuries than you. He should be the one being prioritized, not you." 

When the paramedic said this, it made the silence go to another level. Well, the silence didn't last. Some of the students begin to murmur around,

"Wait, so Long Shen was faking the amount of pain he's in for the whole time?" 

"How can it be? It's Long Shen we're talking about!"

"Heh! I knew it! It was too good to be true! How can somebody be this perfect?!"

"That Long Shen is nothing more than a weakling!"

The talk becomes divided as the females are siding with Long Shen while the males doubt what Long Shen had said. 

Jealousy drives the males into not believing him, while the females continue to treat him like an idol. 

However, that didn't stop the doubt in the air. And Lu Chen isn't going to let this go, "Since you are alright, why have you been acting like you are seriously injured? Is it because you wanted to get ahead of everybody else and get to the hospital faster?" 

"Lu Chen! Don't you take it too far?" Yao Shao glares over, furious over Lu Chen talking like that.

However, Lu Chen continues, 

"How am I taking it too far? I just want to know why Long Shen tried to fake his injuries?" And the other students agreed as well. They're curious as to why Long Shen did it.

But Yao Shao didn't care as he shouts, "You're just mad because brother Long took Liu Fei Fei away from you!" 

The moment Yao Shao said this, everybody went silent. Nobody needs to say anything as they know a shitshow is about to start.

Zhang Jian jumps in now, "Fatty, you're looking to die today!" He couldn't believe Yao Shao would bring something like this into this matter. 

"What?! Aren't I correct! The only reason why this asshole is constantly boss Long is that Liu Fei Fei chooses my boss Long instead of him! Am I wrong?!"

This time Feng Meifeng spoke up, "Yao Shao! You're taking it too far! How does Lu Chen loving Liu Fei Fei change the fact that Long Shen has been lying about his condition. Don't you dare make it out to be something it isn't!"
