Just as Lanya and Karina were staring at the shaker, Lin Ge’s movements suddenly changed. He began to shake the shaker diagonally up and down.

Gradually, a thin layer of frost began to form on the pot. Lin Ge’s hands felt the cold and abruptly stopped.

The large shaker stopped in front of Lanya and Karina. The clanking sounds like the pouring rain seemed to still echo in their ears. Lanya still had a grape in her mouth, but she forgot to chew and swallow it. Her pink cheeks were slightly puffed up.

It was only when Lin Ge pushed a cup of Long Island Iced Tea to them that they came back to their senses.

Lin Ge picked up the other glass of wine that belonged to him and smiled, “Here.”

“Don’t drink too fast this time, or you’ll collapse like yesterday,” He reminded Karina.

Karina raised her glass excitedly to clink glasses with Lin Ge.

Lin Ge didn’t reject her and clinked his glass with hers. The two crystal-clear highball glasses made a melodious sound.

Karina drank a third of the wine in one go. When she put down the glass, her face was flushed, and her full lips were moist and red, like cherries after the rain.

Lin Ge only took a small sip and put down his glass with a smile.

Lanya finally swallowed the last grape in her mouth. Seeing Karina’s radiant face, she was curious about the drink in her cup named Long Island Iced Tea.

“Is it good?”

Karina smiled and pushed the glass to her, “Why don’t you have a taste and you’ll know?”

Seeing Lanya’s eagerness, Lin Ge stopped her in time and said, “Although this drink is called iced tea, it’s actually a kind of hard liquor. Those who don’t know how to drink might pass out after one glass.”

Lanya was stunned. She pushed the glass back to Karina, “Then I won’t drink it.”

Karina picked up the glass and put her other hand around Lanya’s thin shoulder, “What’s the matter? Here, have a taste. It’s delicious. Isn’t alcohol tolerance trained gradually?”

As she spoke, she placed the glass of wine next to Lanya’s mouth.

Lanya couldn’t refuse, so she closed her eyes and took a sip, then coughed violently.

She used her sleeves to wipe the wine stains from her mouth and accused with a red face, “Bad woman.”

Karina laughed out loud.

Lin Ge sighed helplessly. He had already explained to Lanya that Long Island Iced Tea was a type of strong liquor, but she still could not refuse. This was a problem with her weak personality. Yet, he could not possibly lay a hand on a customer and snatch the cup from Karina’s hands.

Of course, if Karina was a bad person with evil intentions, he would definitely stop her.

Not long after, the alcohol kicked in for Lanya. Her purple eyes were hazy, and she looked cute and innocent.

“Lin Ge, I’ll wait for you over there. Please wake me up when you get off work.”

Then, she staggered to the sofa and pounced on it face down.

Karina looked at Lin Ge’s glass, which was still full. She said unhappily, “Why do you drink like a girl? Can’t you drink with me in big gulps?”

“I’m the one who’s curious,” Lin Ge chuckled, “You’re a beautiful woman, but why do you drink like a boorish man?”

“Are you complimenting my beauty?”

“You can understand it that way.”

Karina gave him a flirtatious look, “Then, do you want me to be your wife?”

Lin Ge’s expression remained the same, unmoved.

“Customer, you’re drunk again.”

Karina leaned on the bar counter and looked at Lin Ge’s calm face, “You remind me of the group of warrior monks in the Monasticism Association.”

Monasticism Association? Warrior monks?

What kind of setting was this?

Lin Ge maintained his smile in silence.

Then, an unexpected person sat at the bar counter.

“I’ll have a glass too!”

Lin Ge stared at Elise’s pretty face in shock and reminded her, “Miss Elise, you’re the waitress here.”

Elise pouted and said, “Can’t I be a customer when there’s no one around? It’s not like I’m not paying, so stop nagging.”

Lin Ge looked at the door. It was quiet outside.

“What if a customer suddenly comes?”

“I’ll be the first to serve.”

“Fine, what do you want?” Lin Ge asked helplessly.

“Anything is fine.”

Lin Ge quietly took out a cocktail glass and a bottle of Port wine. He then added ice to the shaker till it was 80% full, and added in the right amount of brandy, sweet vermouth, pomegranate syrup, tangerine juice, and white crème de menthe. He shook the shaker with one hand, his movements elegant and steady.

Elise stared at Lin Ge without blinking as if she was trying to memorize his every move. The latter suddenly stopped and poured the red liquor into the cocktail glass that he had prepared beforehand.

Then, he took out a silver spoon, with the back of the spoon facing up, and gently placed it at the mouth of the cup. His other hand picked up the bottle of Port wine, which he slowly poured along the back of the spoon onto the side of the cup. With this, the bright red liquor was added with a dark red edge, looking mysterious and attractive.

Elise’s gaze was unable to move away from the glass of wine.

“What is this?”

“American Beauty. It is a type of rose, the iconic flower species in Washington, D.C., America. This wine was created in Washington, and its color is similar to the rose, hence the name,” Lin Ge slowly introduced.

“Try it,” Lin Ge placed the cocktail glass on the coaster and gently pushed it to Elise.

A sweet fragrance wafted into Elise’s nose, and her lips moved slightly as she carefully picked up the cocktail glass.

“How is it?” Lin Ge asked with a smile as he watched her charming face reveal a satisfied expression after drinking it.

Although his smile made Elise very unhappy, the fragrance that lingered in her mouth made her unable to say anything disdainful like before.

“Hmph, it’s, it’s not bad.”

Karina pretended to be surprised and said, “Oh? What kind of magic does this glass of wine have? To think it stopped our Lady Elise from speaking vulgarities.”

“Don’t be so long-winded, just drink your wine.”

“Right,” Lin Ge added, “There’s a movie called “America Beauty”. Have you guys watched it?”

“I’ve been meaning to ask you this. Where is Washington?” Karina suddenly turned around, “I’ve never heard of it, and what’s this movie you’re talking about?”

“Are you serious?” Lin Ge’s expression froze.

“More serious than when I asked you if you wanted to be my boyfriend.”

Just as Lin Ge thought that something seemed strange, the wind chimes outside the door rang.

A customer was here.

He hurriedly gestured for Elise to prepare to wait on the customer, and the latter put down her glass unwillingly and left the bar.

A fake smile appeared on her face. She put her hands under her belly button and pressed her right hand against her left hand, ready to welcome the customer who entered the store.

The door opened, and a red-headed lizard wearing gilded armor walked into the bar. That’s right, a lizard that walked upright.

Its bright red scales were like blood. Pitch-black and dangerous vertical pupils were in its brownish-yellow eyes, and the spikes on its head were like sharp daggers.

Lin Ge’s mouth dropped open as he looked at the customer who walked into the shop.
